My family and I would like to extend an invitation to you or your company to participate in the second annual Holton's Drive for SIDS event.  All proceeds will be going to First Candle/SIDS Alliance.

My wife and I lost our son, Holton, to SIDS on March 28th 2007 during his normal morning nap.  Once again we are excited to hold this event to raise as much awareness for this cause as possible.  Our five month old left us way too early but he's our driving force to get up, get out, and let people know what can be done.  We're hoping again to lean on family, friends, and community to make our second year as successful as the first event where a total of $34,000 was raised.

Through this tragic event we've been so touched by the support shown by so many.  Our community has surrounded us with love and prayers and continues to help where we need it most.  Not only do we want to hold this event to raise money and awareness for SIDS, but it's also another opportunity to get our entire community together and once again say Thank You for your ongoing support.  Without strong support, in many cases like this families are torn apart.  This has not been the case for Kathy and myself as we have grown stronger and are very pleased to announce the birth of our third son, Nash, in January of this year.  Each day on average 6 babies die unexpectedly and devastate families just like us.  For all the babies born in the future let's raise money together to eradicate this deadly syndrome.
